you know those people who always loved seating on the front seats in class? the ones who always had their hands up whether there were questions being asked or not? the ones who are commonly reffered to as teacher's pet? haha i was never that kind of student. i loved seating at the back. And with my personality perfectly balancing halfway between an introvert and an extrovert , i never said much most of the time. Seating at the back gave me a chance to view the whole class from a different angle, especially when there was no teacher in class. It was easy to take note of the jokers, the lovers, the book worms and the clueless.

 

I have played competitive football for my respective schools since i was in class 6 and this helped to cultivate my love of the beautiful game. There's so much negative energy directed towards reggae music but that hasn't stopped it from being my favourite genre of music. I also love whisky, good food and travelling alot.

 

My name is Kioko Kivesi. I am a final year BSc. Information Systems student at the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. You can see that writing is now attached to the course im doing, it is a passion that i've always had in me, afterall words have always had a way with me.

 

Anyway everybody has a story, a different story, which leaves each and everyone of us with the obligation to tell our story. There is power in words, and one day when we will all be long gone, our stories will live to see another day, to fight our battles for us.
